Sting Assists is proud to support a wide range of great causes in the Sarnia-Lambton community. Aligning with the Sarnia Sting Hockey Club, our focus is on supporting the growth of the youth in our community. Grant and scholarship opportunities are awarded each year to successful applicants that help support this mission.
Sting Assists was built on best practices in sport and community philanthropy, with a “made-in-Sarnia-Lambton approach.”
The purpose of the community fund is to:
- Promote and support amateur sports and minor hockey in the Sarnia-Lambton Region.
- Advance education through the provision of community scholarships and in-school programming.
- Focus on supporting the Sarnia-Lambton community that continues to support the Sarnia Sting and grow our presence through philanthropy and outreach with organizations within Sarnia Lambton.
To be considered for future funding from Sting Assists, applications will need to be completed and submitted for consideration.
